Rounded up the three amigos and headed to soccer this morning. Blake's team played at 9, and Julia's at 11. Turns out that if you played in the fall, you don't get a new T-shirt and socks. Hm ... seems like a rip-off if you get to pay the same either way. Anyway, neither of my kids had their soccer shirts on from last time. Julia's was in the laundry, and apparently Blake's is too because he doesn't know where it is. We have to find Blake's by Monday though because his team is having pictures taken this time.
For once I didn't pay a lot of attention to the game. I mostly played with Chase, which was fun. We kicked the soccer ball back and forth and chased it around. He was a little chilly, too, so sometimes he just cuddled against me, which I didn't mind at all.
We didn't have time for breakfast before-hand, so we went and picked up McDonald's breakfast in between games, and we also swung by the house to grab chairs to sit on during Julia's game. Julia is not as into it this spring (at least in her first game) as she was last fall. Drat! I was really thinking maybe this was her thing. It didn't help that she was put on defense, though ... the kids didn't get the ball down by her much, so she mostly stood around -- which Julia is NOT good at doing.
Julia has a fellow kindergartner on her team from her school. She is very excited about Miss L being on her team. It also turns out that Miss L and her little sister will be going to my neighbor's house for daycare this summer. So, Julia will be seeing a lot more of her, I guess!
Now we are home and the kids are all outside. I followed them down to Blake's friend's house and sat there while Chase played in their sand box, but then he needed to use the bathroom so we came back. Now Chase is back over there, and here I sit. I am not good at being outdoors. I want to be doing something, and Tyler is in charge of the outside - not me. Some would argue that being on the computer is not "doing something"... and sometimes they are right. When I get sucked into Facebook I am not doing anything. But, I like to scrapbook and while it is a hobby and not a job or chore, it is "doing something."
Speaking of scrapbooking, I made this page the other day and have not posted it anywhere yet:
ETA: I'm just finally posting this on Sunday ... so it's been posted everywhere now, hee hee. A friend on the same Creative Team used the same template and also did an out of bounds! Hers is WAY cuter ... go check it out HERE!

A little bit too much information ...
Visit spokeo.com and type in your name and see what information they have on you. They had much more on me than I would have liked, even if most of it was out-dated. Yep, it's scary. Why am I telling you about it? Because according to their about page, if you can get your information "hidden" from their sources, then it will be removed from their site as they update. The trick, I think ... is to find out where they get all their information from. My grandpa has information on there, for crying out loud ... and he is NOT online, let me assure you!
So, there is my public service announcement for the day.
Hugs and good night!
